Default RE: Pull-pull crimp?

On the GWS sized planes I use 6# monofilament line. Each hole has a 1/2 knot with some tension. When the stretch is right, I touch the wet tip of the CA tube to the line ONLY And LIGHTLY.

Just enough to lock the 1/2 knot where the lines are crossing each other. It is simple to pull on the line to release it for crash repairs. NEVER fill the servo arm hole with CA. That forces you into cutting the reuseable line.

Big planes get the Braided Dacron fish line. NO STRETCH. Same CA treatment. Big difference is the CA is wickedto about a 1/2" away from the knot. So to keethe line flexiable at the holes. CA the line close to the screw hole. I take a tooth with a little Vasaline and coat the screw hole parts so no CA gets a grip in there.

Light, Very accurate, invisible, no slop or binding and easy to adjust. Heat or cold changes nothing. CHEAP!! String and KNOTS.......Allows ALL servos in the nose if desired to help tough COG jobs.
