Is it possible to participate in the hobby while promoting the hobby with results of recruiting new AMA members and still be labeled an AMA basher?

Yes, seems there are many here that have love/hate relationship with the AMA. Many of them hypocrites, just as you just described. Especially the ones that say they promote the AMA, then boast and expect something back in return for their effort.
Thanks for explaining yourself and the insight to your personal hypocrisy. Just what all is it you expect of the AMA?

You expound much about AMA's lack of a Parkflyer tier and regulation...is there more you desire? You have spoken often about the poor leadership of the current AMA but have given little information as to why you bash them. Care to expound on that?
I don't need a single thing from the AMA and don't expect anything more then their membership benefits advertise for the money I pay. I realized the AMA is not a publically held company when I first signed up.

And as far as current leadership, I assume your talking about Dave Brown. Well Dave is an elected member and soon will be replaced. But yes, I'm not too happy with his performance and his vision for the AMA's true purpose. But like I said, he's just a member, he's not a "them".
