Default RE: WillHobby Yak 54 ARF Question

Well, there is no way to get a 1.20AX to even come close to balance. I put my Brillelli 36GT gasser in her. This will make her balance without adding any extra / dead weight. RTF dry weight is at 12lb. 14oz. could drop a little weight going with a wood prop, plastic spinner, one RX/servo battery instead of two and still get balanced by moving the batteries. I used Robart pin hinges and CA'ed every joint I could get to. Changed up to all 4-40 hardware and a Pull pull rudder. I am now putting on some color. I changed the tail ( did away with the blue and white checkers ) and made it blend with the plane more. Added some color to the bottom and am cutting from monokote some Yak 54 logos for on top of the wings.
OH, by the way, the wife just loves it when I lean the plane on the china cabinet.
