been there done that stump3r! - try about 6 stock cx's per flight - just way too expensive for me - 15 grand went just like that (finger snap), and i couldn't complete

you can do the trick of flying 'through the glass' a lot cheaper - use a real-time camera like the 2.4ghz cams and fly it like a uav looking through the cam only - essentially the same thing without the big price tag

my dream is to sit in the big chair in the den and fly it round outside looking at the 'pilot view' on the big screen

i've got a video somewhere of me holding the tx, flying 'though the glass' looking at the tv which is playing the live cam picture, and the cam in the heli is looking down at me from about 20 feet up - totally cool - flew a whole batt through the glass
