Default RE: Women fliers

ORIGINAL: presso

My wife mentioned the other day that there doesn't seem to be many women fliers.I have only seen one up till now.Iknow when i was a lad flying with my uncles there wasn't any mention of a woman flying, heaven forbit that should happen was there thought on the matter.I will certainly be trying to get my wife to learn to fly..Are there any women fliers in your club?

G'day Presso,
We have 4 lady pilots in our club, my partner is nearly ready for her Bronze wings, & she is the club treasurer, & onother one already has hers, they love it & are very competant pilots too. The young lady with the Albatros has flown it, & it is an Australian Scale Championship winner, owned by Dean Erby. She is also showing off her first trainer. she is now flying her low wing Skyraider.
The other young lady is showing her Calmato low wing sports plane, she has her bronze wings.
