I don't need a single thing from the AMA and don't expect anything more then their membership benefits advertise for the money I pay. I realized the AMA is not a publically held company when I first signed up.

And as far as current leadership, I assume your talking about Dave Brown. Well Dave is an elected member and soon will be replaced. But yes, I'm not too happy with his performance and his vision for the AMA's true purpose. But like I said, he's just a member, he's not a "them".
Contradictive to say the very least. When your not happy with some aspect of the AMA, even if it is a member or whatever, that isn't bashing but when someone else expresses their discontent of someone within the AMA or point out what they don't need(credit card offers, solicitation for whatever lists or media crap) from the AMA it is bashing...Hmmmm....simply amazing how you can rationalize your positions. You are hopeless.
How about for once you guys make a statement concerning the AMA that is positive in nature, or at least in context. If you are so disillusioned with the AMA, why don't you not renew your membership for next year. Work on something that is better, and offer it to us.
