Thanks for the reference pictures Krossk. I remember your bird being an inspiration to me for my cowling. And thanks for the welcome back.

Last night I removed the single piece that was already on the cowling and cleaned up the mess and resanded. I will probably attack the cowling after I cover some more of the plane. Especially since I will have some lines that will need to transfer from the fuse to the cowling.
