Toad, It has only been in the last 5 yrs or so that I felt comfortable calling myself a toolmaker. Actually it was only after my dad (who recently retired as a "machinist") worked with me as a boring mill operator and watched me work gave me that honorable title. It has also been given to me by many of my other peers since I changed jobs two years ago.
