Same OLD Chevron tires with zero grip, my T-maxx ones have always sucked and the treads are dissapearing. I should use them as drift tires..
I like the 2 speed option. Gives the opportunity to use high Kv brushless motors and keeping temps low. It will use less amps with the low gear at startup versus high amps at startup with the high gearing. This way you can use "cheaper" electronics.
