To answer both of your questions, usually re-bing them in your set-failsafe positions fixes this problem. You really have to bind the receiver twice. Once when you first put it in the plane, and again after you have all of your control surfaces set-up. Make sure all your sticks are set where you want them, the trim is set the way you want it, gear in the correct position, throttle at idle, etc. THEN re-bind the system again.
This will eliminate that problem.....same for the gear. Feel free to call me if you have any further questions.

You are not telling me anything other then what is already written in the Spektrum manual. You did read my post right? The part where I said that I re-bound the system after I have flown it a bunch??
