As for the microwave, I heard from someone that microwave ovens pose a threat to 2.4? So I turned on my hornet in the garage, left it on with the flight log attached while cooking some popcorn in the microwave that is backed up to the garage wall. I noticed no change in frame loss/antenna fades/holds.....ect. Of course this might change depending on what type of oven, but at the time I chalked it up to urban legend.
