So Gabe from JetJoeUS replaced my jj1400 CC with the "new style" design - which supposed to run cooler. The engine runs great except at idle (set at 45k) it appears to "crackle & pop". Also, there seems to be a hot spot at the 2 o'clock position (looking from the rear). What's the cause of the "crackling & poping" at idle? I've read of this problem on other manufacturer's turbine as well, i.e., Artes...How can I eliminate the hot spot?
