get a walkera #4 cheap from mike at ushobbysupply - great support and plenty o parts ( i got two and one is almost scavenged like a rack of bones in the desert)

also get a set of superskids and install them, then make a metal flybar (so you can just straighten it out and keep on flying - the non-metal ones break too easy) out of spring steel or a cx flybar
