I use a pistol. I doubt I will ever go to sticks because I've always hated them. And it seems like you have to stretch your thumb to go full throttle or your thumb may even get tired during long mains.
LOL...thumbs are ok...and handling more precise...I'm not as good at pistol as I am at stick but It doesn't mean that I hate them
It's up to someone's style! Some say that stick is harder but faster (Collari for example...).
It may be better, but I've gotten used to pistol now.
