I think Jay has got it pegged Rick. In such an enclosed area like your garage, there is turbulence acting on the heli from above & ground effect from below. Makes it hard. You can check the pitch if you have a gauge. I seem to remember doing it myself but I may have just though I did. That was some great hovering for the CPP in a tight area.
