turn it down, then raise the idle screw until the carb is open about 1mm. whats happening is that the screw is set too low and when you adjust the trim or hit the brake the carb is closing, you need to have the screw set so the carb doesnt close when you hit the brake or turn the trim down but keeps the carb open enough to idle but not idle too high so the car keeps trying to move.
