He was hovering; and moved it about with just the trim. I have little plastic Men with grappling hooks, and I like to hover an inch off the carpet; pick one up, fly Him somewhere else and drop Him off. It is alot of fun.
In a real airplane (I know We're talking about helis) You fly with trim all the time. When I want a 4oo fpm descent; I drop 200 on the Tach. and give the trim wheel a good turn downward. My airspeed stays the same and I don't have to touch the yoke at all.
You trim for descent, You trim for climb, You trim for cruise, You trim all the time. Once it's set, You don't have to touch anything; it's a pseudo 'auto pilot' without heading hold.
I love to get my cx-2 so spot on that You can hover an inch and roam around with the spotlight on; like I'm searching for a fugitive, or something.
