Hey folks,

I have a Great Planes kit of a Cap 21. 40 size with a 60" wingspan.

I will be building it this winter and am looking for answers to the following questions.

What engine would you suggest? Also muffler?

I read of a mod to move the landing gear forward of the wing to avoid the dreaded "snap" on takeoff. Is this neccessary? Or as long as I use plenty of takeoff speed is that sufficient?

What other mods will help with the "snap"?
