Default RE: Cap 21 Questions?

I had 2 of these maaaaany years ago. The first one had an OS 45 in it and needed a LOT of lead to balance, nosed over all the time and I think the finished weight was 6+ lbs. Performance was NOT stellar. The second one had an OS .61 ABC and I moved the LG ahead into the fuse and because I needed less dead weight it still weighed about the same. Now I had a fine plane, lots of power and no more nose overs. I never had problems with the dreaded snap maybe because I made sure it was a bit nose heavy. But do yourself a BIG favor and put the landing gear in the fuse for all kinds of reasons and one of the best is that it now will stand on it's own without a cradle.

If I ever built another it would have a .91 4 - stroke in it.

I just noticed that you had this in the 3D forum. There was no such thing when this plane was designed and I'm 99.9% sure it would not do 3D. The plane is too much of a Lady for that.
