Hey Everyone,
I just had a quick question about new Electric engines. I have the Yak 3D 55 Park Flyer. I must have burned the ESC or the Motor out on my last flight, so I bought another motor and ESC. I hooked everything up after breaking in my motor. I noticed that large arcs were coming out of the back of the motor. I think the max temperature reached by the motor was 160 degrees F. Is that okay. And is it normal for the motor to be spitting sparks out the back. I electrical taped around the sides just so the sparks would stay contained. Thanks for the Info.
