Yea man its worth it, then take your time to build your second while you enjoy and learn on your first plane!
Techna offers good advice. Buy a Tower Trainer 40 MkII ARF and a Great Planes Rapture .40 Kit. You can build the Rapture .40 while you learn to fly the Tower Trainer. Once you're comfortably flying your trainer and you're ready to move on, your kit-built second plane will be ready to go.
