It is a nice size room but I wish it was a bit bigger. I don't hit my head on any of those planes and I am 5' 10" tall. I do need more shelves in there for the other planes I will be building

I agree with khodges, you are doing something constructive with your son and that is something you can treasure forever. My boy spends time with me in there going over the planes(the NexStar is his) and my wife thinks it is great and it keeps me out of her hair!!!!
I still have more unused space in the basement if I need it too.
