The tape I use most is 3M tapes. For paint masking I use the green automotive, blue and green painters, and the yellow flexible painters tapes. I also picked up a roll of industrial VHB tape which can be used for attaching dissimilar materials like plastic and metal. It's like a super double sided tape, but very expensive. I've used clear packing tape for quick covering repairs and for sealing gaps.
The other tape I use a lot is 1/64" chart tape for making panel lines.
