navav2002: Thanks for the link to aztec. I see you didn't mention the Cursor or Eclipse, the other planes available there. Any reason? I see the ones you mention appear to have much larger rudders.
No...Absolutely no reason...The Cursor and Eclipse are sweet too...I personally crave both the Summit III and the LA-1...Just my favorites so I suppose that is why I mentioned them...I have heard from more than one source the Summit is a good flyin' aircraft...Never owned any of them...
In fact I'm kinda in a similar situation as you...Just kinda learning the ropes with some of these Old School Pattern ship's and Hanno Special engines...
Reguarding Headers...
Macs products will have a header to suite most any common need:

Bearings:
I have a couple of used Hanno's and RF-P's I got off eBay....Someone recommended Ceramic bearings whenever it was time to change them...I'm planning to do just that...I'm saving up for some for one of the RF-P's right now...
I must say...Having just gone through each of my engines....the Hanno is pretty much a work of art in my opinion...These are my first ever OS engines...The RF-P's are nice....But the Hanno's are dang Impressive...
With the Hanno's on the test stand I'm getting 10,600 RPM with a 12x12 APC prop and a Bolly Carbon Fiber Pipe and Hatori Header...I'd like to get the RPM's down about 1k to 9600 RPM...Thinking about trying a Bolly 12.5w prop...Or an Engel 12.5 x 12...Everything I've heard or read about the Hanno's are...They are meant to run in the 9600 RPM range...I'm running PowerMaster YS 20/20 fuel....
Have Fun with yours!!
Chuck
P.S. Sorry for "TMI"...But once I get started...I can't stop...he he...I'm workin' on that...
