CA hinges are great for cowl reinforcing, I epoxy them in around the screw holes to keep cowl from rubbing the covering off, then I use good strong,long lasting nylon hinges!(pinned or flat)
My .60 Do is still fun even though I have larger planes, doesnt seem to matter to me as long as I'm low & slow, huckin & tail touchin.
Yesterday my engine sagged in a low hover, had no pull out at all, I waited until the rudder was about to touch and then pushed up with a little throttle , the darn thing landed with the engine still running!! HOVERING TAIL TOUCH & LAND-NEW STUNT!!! (OK, it was not planned and its been done before but WHAT A HOOT!!!!)
