Thanks Sid for contacting him....I scrounged the internet and found some pics of the fiberglass fuse he used to sell. Also found some recent posts where he wasn't doing that part anymore. I am very interested in doing an EDF version, and keeping it the same size !! I do believe it is possible. I would imagine this plane comes out very, very tail heavy with the turbine setup, which would mean lots of dead weight in the nose, which can be avoided by moving the batteries as you suggested. I am concerned about scratch building the fuse. I don't mind the wings and tails...maybe, maybe we can talk Dean into making the fuse if he still has the molds, if I/we can make it worth his time. I found the retracts for it- made by Robart, a bit pricey at $600+... I bet a set of big 1/4 scale retracts would work just as well, and can be made to look scale. For the time being I'll keep plugging away at my smaller A-10 from Electric Jet Factory. It has retracts and i will be detailing it out pretty soon, just have to get the retracts plumbed and electronics sorted yet. Here are some pics for now
