Default RE: CMP Zero Makeover

No, I have been on the search myself. The angle of the wheels is swept very far forward to help in keeping the plane from nosing over on this kit so you have to decide if you are okay with that or not. I think I'll go with a more scale setup and just use a high elevator for taxi. There is a company called shindin machine (http://www.shindinmachine.com/) that will customize retracts as well as oleo struts. He has some for the zero that look quite scale but I haven't checked them for size. I exchanged a few emails with the owner, "Lenny" who seemed interested in making a set for this kit. He needed the measurements to do so and so I began to put a package together for him but got very busy with work so I didn't complete it. Winter's coming though and I look to go full force into this project once the Spit is compete. I have also considered Sierra giant scale as well as yellows retracts for their zero (maybe a bit too small). Again, I need to look into the sizes here.
