I cut everything out and reglued the jet to shoot out higher bringing the hull up. There is no change in the porpoising. I even put the outrunner 1600 rpm/v back and and it skips worse than before.
Seems putting the plate in was a bad idea.
Starting to think this is the time for a new hull.
