Default RE: evolution engines?

Evolution Gas engines are MVVS engines renamed by Horizon hobbies. There are no connection to Evolution glow engines!!! Well those glow motors are not so bad either, but carb settings are little complex for average Joe.

MVVS/Evolution are nice engines if you read the manual and take a moment to learn your engine behavior. Maybe Zenoah run better out of the box and you can throw the manual to rubbish bin...

MVVS/Evolution 35 is a little bit too heavy for a 35 engine and MVVS 45MG is actually lighter. 26/35 works best with a tuned pipe. If you are not using pipe and side carb works for you, look for Brillelli engines. Horizonhobbies has a poor support for Evolution gassers, but if you buy your engine from Pe Reivers(www.mvvs.nl) there is a MVVS support and also a forum here in RCU.

Zenoah is a bit heavy, oldish and not so powerful engine anyway...
