Default Tip plates - Can they significantly increase aileron effectiveness??
I had a clipped (48") wing Goldberg Cub that I experimented with.
I put wingtip fences on, about 4 inches above and below the wing surfaces. It gave great low speed handling but I didn't notice anything spectacular about the roll rate.
