Maybe try an Eratix It is a 3D type plane flys very stable, easy to land, will do anything you ask, Expensive though. but very forgiving. I like the easy landings, Smooth. If not maybe a top wing trainer or a Stick of somekind. The Stick line is a good easy on the thumbs type plane also. Or Maybe a Typhoon. They are foam and very easy to repair if you need. They also will fly very slow and kinda float in on landings. Very areobatic also. The Super Cub is alos a good learner plane but I feel you would get bored with it pretty quick as it is just elev. and rudd. I put a set of mini Edge wings and a 480 brushless motor on a super cub yesterday just to see what it will do. (crash probabaly) lol. Just look around. Tower Hobbies has a plane they guarantee you will not crash and it looks pretty cool too. Gas motor and transmitor and all under 300. 00 Hope you find something you will enjoy. Around here the Tyhoon is what most guys go to as a second plane but it is also a very fast plane as well as going slow. It will do just about anything you want. It comes Plug and play, ARF, or RTF I think.
