mine did pop off a couple of times on my P-40, untill I replaced the ball caps with new ones from horizonhobbies,if you check the H-9 P-40 thread in the last couple of pages there was a link to a stronger ball joint that a poster had sucess with, so far mine are holding up but its been a while since I have flown the P-40 mabe tomorrow if the wind cooperates.
