Are you saying that you trust that flimsy little plastic pin in the middle of the plastic clevis any more that a perfectly good solder joint?
On the use of Robart hinges, there is probably not enough material in the control surfaces for a Robart hinge to glue onto.
Three hour epoxy on CA hinges, I certainly hope not. Isn't that why they call them CA hinges?
