i believe that the mini baja is a little faster but the mini quake looks more rigid and range depends on what radio you buy if you get the SE but my mini baja has gone to like 200ft or so... not sure about the normal mini quake though

the mini baja is a mini-t pre modified and does not come with lipo or 2.5ghz, it comes with a 27FM sythesized radio and a 1100 mah battery.
