Default RE: Precision Cut Kits

I bought a kit from PCK and it was an absolute disaster. I ordered one of his "Pro-line Aerobatic Kits". Paid over $500.00 for this kit and there were so many missing parts it was unbelievable. The wood sheeting that was supplied was not enough to do the kit (35%) and the wood that was given was of very poor quality. The thickness of the sheeting was not constant, thicker on one end then the other. After some nasty e-mails to Larry, all communication stopped. I had to scratch cut the formers that were missing, and I ended up replacing most of the sheeting in the kit. I will say that at first he did send me some of the wood that was missing, but the packaging was so poor, they arrived broken and destroyed. I know UPS can be a bull in a china shop, but this packaging was so bad I can't completely blame UPS. I told Larry to re-send the parts and use one of the tubes that he uses for the plans, he did that, and they arrived ok. Kits like this make a good argument for ARF's. I can't speak about the kits he cuts for other designers, maybe the designers have strick quality standards, but this Pro-Line Kit was terrible. I told Larry I wanted a partial refund, because I paid for a full kit, and I feel like I received a short kit. Of course that's when the communication stopped. I actually comtemplated abandoning this project and just buying a good ARF. I've been building for well over 10 years, and this was the worst quality kit I have ever seen. PCK definately lost me as a customer.
