Like I mentioned, I fly off a asphalt runway and do have problems with the gear. Also, one of my flying buddies has the gee bee and he has the same problem. I would say our flying skills are close to expert as we have flown many different planes. I did buy the Robart gear and I assure you its a fix to the landing problems with the Bee. The plane sticks to the runway and rollout is straight and smooth. Something that did not occur with the stock gear. If you fly from asphalt, then I suggest the Robart gear but if you stay with stock I bet you will be making repairs to the cowl and wheel pants. Just my 2 cents worth.
