It runs when the glow ignitor is on, but dies when you take it off...I have no personal experience with nitro engines, but I have been reading rc car action and rc driver magazines since january of 2006, and have seen this question several times. They always give the same answer, the glow plug. I would try a different plug. The one you have in it may be faulty, even though it is new. If you are worried about the temperature, you can use a hair dryer to heat up the cylinder head before you start it. Seems like if it was the carb settings, then it wouldn't run at all. Hope this helps, if it doesn't, I tried. Maybe someone else with a little more experience with nitro can shed some light on it.
