Junction City is about 1.5 to 2 hours (depending on time of day and driving speed ) west of KC on I-70. If you know where Fort Riley is, Junction City is right next to it. 20 Miles southwest of Manhattan.

You coming this way sometime? I'll love to have a heli flying buddy sometime. Right now I'm all alone, the other guy that used to fly here was deployed to Iraq. There are a few people getting into helicopters, but there is nobody that I can learn anything from.

From time to time, I meet the guys in Topeka (about 45 min to 1 hour west of KC) to fly at their field. There are a couple of guys there that can do some stuff that I can't so I like to hang out with them so I can continue learning.
