Default RE: FS One by Hangar 9

I think both my Cub and my P-47 bounce a lot less in RL than the ones in the sim, but no matter. Speaking of which ... since the first expansion pack is out, it's time to start thinking about the second expansion pack. Any of you other FS One users want to chime in and add your own wish list?

-------------------------------

Dear Horizon,

Here is what I would like out of the next FS One expansion pack, if it were sold for $29.99:

- 4 new flying fields (and maybe hold an online contest for user-generated flying fields that you can include in the release)
- UI overhaul of the customization interface ... most of us have no clue what the numbers do in the configuration screens

New aircraft:

- E-flite P-47
- E-flite Super Airliner
- E-flite JN-4 Jenny
- Flying Styro B-25
- Flying Styro Me262
- Multiplex Twister
- Multiplex FunJet

- a dual-engine warbird
- a quad-engine warbird

- E-flite Blade 400 CP

My wishlist is mostly electric because that's what I fly. But I also believe the industry is going that direction in a very very big way. The market for gas powered planes is slowly dipping its toes in the electric conversions, and the rest of us who are starting RC now in 2007 and forward, are almost invariably going the electric route. It's easier, cheaper, cleaner, less noise, and just as powerful. That plus the flexibility to fly anywhere because of gas-powered restrictions in most metropolitan areas makes it an easy choice. Would love to see FS One ahead of the curve along with Horizon's E-flite offerings. Expand the available model line by 10 new planes next year ... but that is off topic. : )
