Superchargers on model glow engines may not work but they sure as heck do on two stroke snowmobiles. I watched a race a couple of years ago where the guys without superchargers got their collective butts kicked by the ones that had em. It was a very significant difference. I talked to one of the mechanics and he said it was very critical on how the pipe was tuned. I guess the right pipe can stuff it all back in the cylinder right before the exhaust closes. Just a guess.
