Obviously the guy can fly, as the rest of the flight was uneventful. After the plane hits the divot, or whatever it was to make it veer, the plane is into the spectators in less than 3 seconds. How many of our tubines can go from full throttle to low or off in that amount of time IF you can hit the kill switch that fast.

I think the problem is where the spectators are and why its best to start the takeoff run past the pilot stations. In this case there is no pilot station or barrier as is the case at many flying fields.
