I agree with flying freak, never mind what happened after the jet started moving but lets concentrate on what happened before. The pilot should have been conscious of the fact that those spectators were standing that close behind him and if you look closely the jet is pointed slightly towards the crowd before he even throttled up. He should have been more concerned with safety than the crowd is because he has more knowledge (or should have more knowledge!!) of the capabilities and damage that is possible with the turbine jets we fly. The spectators want to get as close as possible and need to be told to stay back. At least he could have pointed the jet away for the take off regardless of wind.

That guy that jumped couldn't have timed his jump any better.
