I think I can really swear an extremely holy oath and say that I - and the rest of the guys in my club here -
have NEVER started a take-off almost in line with a lot of spectators, then see that it was a disasterous take-off and still
just continuing the attempt. No matter if he can fly, he has made some very, very bad decisions from the start of this
near-accident and should have someone watching him the next time he chooses to fly...
Take another look at the video and you will see that the plane turns to the right as soon as he spools it up, then hits a
small bump, but there is PLENTY of time to hit the brakes or shut down the turbine. Doing so, he might still have hit
someones leg or foot at moderate speed, but the choice to take off is not worthy of a pilot who flies jets.
