I would suggest getting G2 and the add on disc with the raptor 30 and 60. Then order a Raptor 30 or 60 depending on funds. The 60 is a touch more stable, but a touch more expensive. You can learn on either and both are great helis. Both will do 3D when you get to that part and both are cheaper to fix than most. I had Schluter and miniature aircraft birds and sold all 6 and bough a couple of raptor 30s and a 60. I like them. I have since sold the 30s and just fly the 60. It is a great heli. I have some updates on it and love flying it. The sim is a great training aid. Helps teach you the basics.
