Fuel consumption will also vary quite remarkably, with a change in the percentage of nitro in the fuel...

The Saito 1.25 will run very well with 15% nitro.
I don't think 5% nitro and less will have this engine running reliably, but I believe it can be adjusted to run satisfactorily well on only 10%.


With higher percentages of nitro, such as the 30% heli fuel many modelers now use, the fuel consumption can be as much as 40% greater than with 15% nitro...
The RPM boost will only be 200-400, so for sport flying it is not really worth it; and the cost of a gallon of fuel is significantly higher as well.

Wasting about twice as much on fuel, without getting a really large boost in performance, is a raw deal...
