I use the term Radio Control. We use radios to control our planes, and this is a subset of remote control. Control line is another form of remote control, however, we here generally speak of planes, cars, trucks, boats, gliders that are controlled with radios. And yes, PPM and 2.4 are radio technologies, as well as FM, AM and HAM.
