thanks guys for the info will start with a nitro truck. like you said iam already set up for it. was thinking of starting out with a used one. since i dont have the funding for a new one. thanks again. chuck.
Buying used you have to be very careful. There are too many inexperienced people who buy a truck and break parts and ruin engines then get bored and sell it. It still looks pretty much new but needs lots of stuff to make it right. I never buy used unless the price is low enough to replace the motor ant the truck still be a deal. A good rule of thumb is to NEVER pay more than 1/2 of the new price of the vehicle. My personal goal when buying used is between 1/3 and 1/2 of the new price.
