I just gotta try one of these
The only model airplane power source I've got available is an OS.46FX. I am building one of these things right now for it. Using the specs Dave McDonald gave for his pizza box, I figured 36''x36'' ought to be just about right. I also felt that one layer of coro would be way too flimsy, and two layers would be too heavy, so I'm using 3/4'' blue styrofoam with kraft paper covering paper mache style. I'm gonna cheat and round the leading edges, but everything else will be square. I've already cut all the parts(all 8 of them, with rudder and canopy outline), which took about half of an hour. It looks like it will be a little more labor intensive than Dave and Foamguy's but not much. I'll update as it progresses.
