Absolutely, the dynamics of flight are the same no matter what the power source is for the plane. If you show up with the plane you indicated most any instructor is going to tell you to go get a trainer. This plane is NOT something to learn on. Even the best instructor would be hard pressed to train on a plane like this

I was thinking of buying a DX7 transmitter with a AR6000 receiver (which is more affordable), but I guess I'll need a AR6200 or AR7000 receiver that are full range. Am I right ?
Yes, you need to get a receiver that has more range than the AR6000. The AR6200 and AR7000 are full range receivers and will do fine for you here.
