RE: Modeltech Magic V2.0 ARF
I have had a bunch of them, i was one of the first people to fly it for Hobby People and rate it. I had flown it in many different configurations and the V2 is only different in they strengthened up the area under and directly behind the canopy and made it where it can be converted to electric. It actually is a real nice plane and 3D's well, it was originally designed to be powered by a .46 with a 12.25 X 3.75 prop which really is optimal but I have flown it from there to a .80 Saito 4 stroke and electric.
It is a wonderful entry level, low dollar plane that is fun to fly, I have flown it with the CG as far back as 4in behind where the manual puts it without any bad habits. If you do buy one put Velcro on the bottom of the canopy and use this area to move the battery around to get the CG where you want it. I found the most fun configuration is a .46 with the CG about 3in back, it is very stable there and you can harrier it around all day, practice hovering and it will do a powered flat spin in one place without dropping there. If you are looking for something cheap and fun get it, the only thing that I can say was a bad point is the white stripe on the top of the wing comes off pretty quick on the side that gets the most fuel on it, but other than that it is a fun cheap plane.
